Medium Bonnie Vent's connection with the hit television show: Supernatural

September 29, 2016

Back in 2005 a brand new paranormal dramatic series hit the airwaves for the first time. It continues to entertain fans with new episodes today.   Its name is: "Supernatural."  "Supernatural" stars: Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles as two brothers who follow their father's footsteps as "hunters" fighting evil supernatural beings of many kinds including monsters, demons, and gods that roam the earth.

So what does medium Bonnie Vent have to do with this show? See her in the video above:

In 2005 I was very well known for field research as a medium in the San Diego area.  I was contacted by a then local news reporter (Perette Godwin) who was tasked to do what is called a "companion piece" for the then new show "Supernatural."  It was intended to be local publicity for the network show to air on the evening news enticing viewers to tune in and watch the very first episode.  They wanted my expert opinion about the topic as a counterbalance to the launch of the show.

At the time I was doing some research work at the Villa Montezuma in San Diego. Perette and her cameraman met me outside of the house for the interview.  You can see the Villa Montezuma in the background.  What we did not know at the time was that KTLA was also looking to do a similar kind of story. They grabbed a small clip and put it into their story (see video above).   All of a sudden I am getting emails from my celebrity clients in Los Angeles telling me that they saw me on television. They were incredibly supportive. I was very used to seeing them on television, but never did I imagine that they would see me.  I have been honored to have done this type of work with local news crews on many occasions.  It is so much fun.  I will be talking about these in future blogs.  I am still available for this type of work as well as doing readings and selling my art and jewelry.
